For children who cannot receive traditional dental care in the office, we offer an effective alternative. A hospital setting is ideal for young children with have multiple cavities who are unable to receive treatment in the office due to behavioral concerns,  extensive treatment times, or extreme anxiety. In the hospital there is an anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist monitoring the child while the dentist completes the dental treatment. After treatment is completed your child will be in the care of recovery room nurses. With children who have long and extensive work involved, the hospital provides a more comfortable alternative for the child. Instead of sitting through multiple appointments in the office, all treatment will be completed in the hospital. If this is the treatment route that you, your child, and the dentist decide is the best, our office will provide you with paperwork outlining the steps to preparing your child for treatment. Your child will need to have a physical completed no more than 30 days prior to the scheduled procedure. Our facilities include: Beaver Medical Center and the East Liverpool City Hospital.
